Louise (G.F.Howatt) who works upstairs in re: strange actions of a young man. Between 8.15 and 8.45 am he walkes up from Putnam Road, onto Bailey Road and then up Chapin Lane. They live in the old Reidy house up in the woods. She has two girls about 12 to 13 years old. The boy is Bisonnette ???, black hair, 5'10' medium build, good looking, dark jacket and does not wear hat. She says she will call me the next time she sees him up that way and I will check him out. | ||||||||||||

Told her that if she wantd to sign a complaint to go with me to see the Clerk of Court. Will call me this afternoon. | ||||||||||||

Out to Worcester with Mrs. Gordon and Mr. Nideur both of whom live on either side or Mrs. Gosselin and we talked with 1st Assistant Clerk or Courts, Mr. Wm. J. Rourke. Mr. Rourke suggested that I have a strightforward talk with Mrs. Gosselin. he told Mr. Gordon and Mr. Nideur that at this time there was no evidence on which he could grant a complaint. I stopped in and saw Mrs. Gosselin and had it out with her. Mrs. Gosselin was born and brought up in Millbury. Left there in '55. She was in the TB hospital for 9 months in West Boylston. Arthur oldest son is 12 years old. Born in Feb 14, 1952 is quite sickly, nervous type. Candace, was born 9-30-53, 10 yrs old. Cynthia is 9 yrs old, born 11-14-54. Husband died Aug. 27, 1962. She was quite friendly with Bobby Erickson, 21 years old. She is 32 yrs. old. | ||||||||||||

Told Mrs. R. to have her daughter 17 yrs. old tell me the story. First time three weeks ago on Jamieson Road. Said, Good morning. one week later, Jamieson Road. His usual talk is Where are you going? Are you sure that you don't want a ride. This morning, he looked as though he were asleep. About 25 yrs old, dark hair, dark complexion, good looking man. I chedked and found that this car is a 1964 Volkswage, and is registered to Mary L. Clarke, 1 Sullivan St., Spencer. | ||||||||||||

Mr. Ostling, 39 Birchwood Drive, calls that at 8.30 p.m. a man came to his door and asked where a Mr. Donhom lived. He seemed a bit confused and when he left, Mr. Ostling was suspicious and heard something drop, out in his garage and this man ran toward his car and drove off at a fast rate of speed. He has a peg board in the garage where he hangs the tools on and two tools are missing. One thing gone is a pair of hedge shears. The fellow was 40 years old, not any hat on, wore a brown camels hair coat, clean shaven, med build, 5'8". Had a light colored Ford R40145. | ||||||||||||

Found the Volks-Wagon parked on Jamieson Road had him come to the office, with his papers. Robert Clarke, 1 Sullivan St., Spencer Lic. No. 189656D 1-21-63 d.o.b. is 1-21-39 25 years old, married 2 1/2 years. Has a 1964 Volkswagon, 2 door sedan, beige color. Registered to his wife, Mary R. Clarke, R43342. He works at the Merritt Oil Co. on Belmont St. Been there for the past four weeks. Works 48 hours weekly and gets $69.00. He previously worked at the Presmet Corp., Worcester. Got $46.42 weekly, take home pay. His wife works at the Cote Bros. Oil Co. Spencer. He roller skates in competition at Skateland on Portland St. Worcester with one Linda Lewis, who is his partner. She lives at 122 Jamieson Road, Holden. They practiced last night from 8 to 11 p.m. and she took him home and left her car there as she did not have much gas in the tank, so he drove her home. He says that he usually comes over here early in the morning and waits till 8 a.m. for her. I told him to cut out this parking on Jamieson Road and to go to her home direct. | ||||||||||||

On my arrival, I found that he had stopped. Talked to Mr. Raymond Lacuyer, Parker Ave. (next to Roger Lindfors) who is a Deputy Sherriff and works nights at the jail from midnight to 8 a.m. and he had just told the boy "Scottie" to shut the darn thing off. | |||||||||||||

Rev. Williams and Mr. Reinhold in re: Jack, involved in theft of money at the Swedish Congregational Church. McCauley is the investigating officer. Part of the money was recovered. After our talk I informed them that it was my intent to file a complaint of Larceny, with the court, through McCauley. I appreciate Mr. Reinholds efforts and will have McCauley contact him and have him go along when the complaint is filed and of course he will be in court when and if the complaint is accepted and the case comes up.
