Their American debut on "The Ed Sullivan Show" stage sent waves of teen-agers into screaming convulsions across America, bewildering millions of parents. A new top 100 list from VH1 and Entertainment Weekly magazine says that was rock 'n' roll's biggest TV moment -- the day Beatlemania hit the states and stayed. | |

Mrs. Francis Fisler (Hawkes House) 208 Holden St. who has a Conn. registered car in her yard complains that during the night some one fooled around the car after 3 a.m. and dropped their flashlight on the ground. Car rolled down driveway and onto a rock and got hung up. She had to call Sunnyside Motor to come and lift it up, off the rock. This happened once before. |

Alice Newell calls re: Ben Oldacowski, is mad at her and has threatened to "take" her somehow. She has been going with him for about a year and a half. |

Mrs. Clark, Centerwood Dr., calls and wants to see me. On arrival she said that her husband would not give her any money to buy food with and I told her to see a lawyer. |

Mazie Young of Mixter Road calls re: her daughter Shirley is at the dance at W.R.H. with her boyfriend and she is afraid that her previous suiter will cause trouble to-night. Told her to have her daughter see one of the officers if trouble. |

Wayland Davis, of W.R.H. School calls re: student, age 14 and brothers aged 11 and 9 left alone for two weeks now and two weeks more while the parents are down in Florida. He is to call the S.P.C.C. |

Mr. Randall, Centerwood Drive in re: his son Richard, 3-2-46. Was not accepted in the marines because he had been once psychoanalyzed. Dr. Malcolm Sills, psychiatrist agreed that he should wait for a year and grow up. He has been hanging around the Lillian Wisner girl, plenty. |

Paul German, S.P.C.C. PL 3-2967 calls re: children being left alone while parents went to Florida. I called Grace Hammond and she feels sure that we have been misinformed as there is a strange car there each night. I called him back. |

Mrs. Rockwell of Sterling (welfare agent for that town) in re: her son Brad Rockwell bought a sticker from Bruce Curtis also from Sterling, at the WRH School and had his operators license suspended for an indefinite period. Told her to have him apply again in six months. Nowak and Phil Derby investigated the case. |

Mr. Roger Letendre, 33 Somerset Lane in re: Mr. Rogers Great Dane dog knocks his little two year old son over. Dog is not vicious. Explained to him in detail the dog laws. He decided first to contact the owner and to ask him to keep the dog in the house during certain hours. |

Mrs. Joseph Wisner called that she sent the tax money to Worcester by mistake. Will get same straightened out. |

Mr. Wyman Darling calls re: dog of Mr. Gilmore on Reservoir St. killed some of his hens. It is a brown and white dog. Sent McCauley over to check. Mr. Gilmore paid for the damage o.k. |

Mrs. William Lindstrom of North Main St. calls that when she went out Bill put a padlock on the house. Would like to have an officer come, just to witness the padlocks and then she will contact her lawyer. Out on same with McCauley. |

Mrs. Santimaw, Parker Ave calls re: Bachant dog is in heat and it attracts all other dogs in the area. I called Mrs. Bachant and suggested that she restrain the dog during the period that it is in heat. |

Harry Gilchrist calls re: car of Kathleen T. Bean on Steele St. is in the way. I called Lawyer Harold Donohues office, who is her cousin and found that he is in Washington. I told Miss Mary Gill the personal secretary to Mr. Donohue and she called Mrs. Bean who removed the car ok. Miss Gill is 100% o.k. |

Mr. Harold Stockwell, of 13 Frederickson Ave. calls re: Mr. Dodge talked to his boy very nasty onseveral occasions. Suggested that he see Mr. Mellquist, clerk of court, or his attorney. |

| Fire alarm. On Kendall Road, dish-washing machine caught on fire and belched forth smoke. | |

Mr. Haglund calls that his boy left the car over at the Chaffins School while he went in another car to the WRH School and that during his absence some one stole off the fancy hub-caps. He will report same to his insurance company. The car was a 1963 Chev. and was there from 8.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Super-style hub caps, Spin Type, stole all four. |

Mrs. Hind, Avery Road, 1st house in on left calls re: two stray dogs, poodle mongrel type, both hungry now. I went out on same but not able to catch them. Will have to use either gun or sleeping pills. Next call I get will have the person try to entice them into their garage. |

Call re: two stray dogs at the house of Mr. Hinds, up on Avery Heights Drive, beyond Mae Fitmans on the left. He got them in his cellar o.k. Gave them sleeping pills. Two small dogs one black, long hair, small - One fawn color, long hair, small. |
