Called Shrewsbury P.D. re: character of Jack A. Bump. Called Wor. P.D. and he has no record. He teaches Sunday School. The Shrewsbury P.D. contacted Mr. Bump who came to their headquarters and showed them the hedge clippers that he stole. They called me and he came out to see me and we went to the home of Mr. Ostling where things were straightened out to the satisfaction of all concerned. | ||||||||||||

Chester Wesolowski calls re: B&E&L at his Jefferson Service Station. Entrance was gained through the north end window. Two women from Hilltop saw a 1957 Ford black, with three boys in it slow down in front of them and pull over to the curb at 12.30 a.m. but they thought nothing of it at the time. I took photos of the tire marks and foot prints. Stolen was the following merchandise: Two cases of oil, 1 case of transmission oil, 1 case of No.20 oil. S&H Green Stamps, 10 pads YQH 801-to 810 Value, Reg. of MV Stickers B#79700-B37900-B379800 three books of stickers. Cigarettes out of the vending machine, Roberts Burns Cigars, Thompsons, Tampas, Dutch Masters. | ||||||||||||

Mr. Donald Gordon or 318 Holden St. calls to complain that Mrs. Gosselin at 318A has two men visitors at her house and their cars are blocking the driveway so that he can not get out. I went there and entered the home and Mrs. Gosselin and two men were at the kitchen table, drinking beer. Mr. William J. Hennessey of 31 Indian Hill Road Worcester, who used to be the bartender at the Holden VFW was standing up drinking beer. He has operator slicense 098912A dated 7-5-63. Had car of Norman Mott, 94 Malden St. Worcester who was stinking drunk. 1957 Ford, 4 dr. station wagon . Henessey moved both cars. No noise outside the house. | ||||||||||||

State Police call re: information from the Auburn P.D. re: finding of registry of motor vehicle tickets and mdse. stolen from the Jefferson Service Station. They found the articles at the scene of a brush fire. 1934 model of a National Cash Register No. 3687574 and under that number was 4121. About a year ago Auburn had a store break and they checked on Edward Coffey, Worcester 4-18-40 and also a Donald R. Reaucage, of 23 Thayer St. North Oxford, d.o.b. 6-10-42. | ||||||||||||

Night Supervisor at Memorial Hospital calls re: notifying the parents of Schange who is in the accident ward. He is non cooperative. Sent No.1 to go to 24 Nola Drive the home but before their arrival, Schang told them of the whereabouts of his parents, at the Lincoln Lanes. O.K. with the hospital. | ||||||||||||

Hospital calls re: injured boy brought to the accident ward and he is quite badly beaten up. Three boys brought him in. Danny Moriarty of Wyoming Drive. Sent No.1. Those who brought him in were Gerald Trudeau and Ed. Jeffrey of Sterling and Irving Trudeau of Princeton. Story was that they found him wandering around a street in Clinton. | ||||||||||||

Officer Norman Dubrule of the Wor. P.D. Youth Division calls re: Jefferson Service Station break. I met with him at 1 p.m. Questioned Alva E. Miron, Jr. age 19, dob 6-20-44 of Worcester, Father Alvah E. Sr. mother Gertrude. Owns a 1957 2 dr sedan Mass. Reg R41471. Told me taht he and the other two boys hd left home, needed some money so they broke into the Gulf Gas Station in Jeff. Said that he acted mostly as a lookout. he and the other two put the stuff in the back of his car and the covered some with his naval reserve rain coat. Said that they took almost a case of transmission oil and almost one case of auto oil, Green Stamps, Reg. of MV Stickers, cigarettes and cigars. ARREST: B&E&L in the Nighttime. We then went to the Trade School and talked to Robert Carl Amyot, age 16 yrs. Father Ovide, Mother Gertrude. Goes to Worcester Boys Trade School. Born in Worcester. | ||||||||||||

| Jas. Oliver in with David Dakota who stole a pocketbook out of the glove compartment of a car being repaired at Laukenens Body Shop in Jefferson. The pocketbook belonged to Rev. Baggs and contained credit cards. David told Jim and I that he intended to use he credit cards and thought better of it and threw the pocketbook and contents in the cemetery near our house. Lonstein, 34 Amherst St. Worcester. i called her and she said that the car was operated by her son David 16 yrs. old. I explained to her about his going by three stopped school busses and that there were children getting off the front bus who almost got hit. Told her that I was going to ask the registry to revoke his license and she approved of said action. | |||||||||||||

| Barbara Melich (Brunzell girl) of 318 Holden St. in re: her next door neighbor at 318A. A couple of times lately men have come to her house and asked if Carol lived there. Admitted that they were not rude to her. Nothing illegal about this. Explained in detail what had been done on the case and all about her friend Mrs. Gordon and the man next door who went with me to District Court. No complaint was issued. Not sufficient evidence. They all admit no breach of peace. Mrr. Melick did complain about no action being done to satisfy her by the Board of Health so suggested that she see the Selectmen re: same. Explained to her that I ha stopped operators of cars coming from the house and hav as yet failed to apprehend any one under the influence. Suggested to her that se try the State Police as I had done all in my power and to tell them that I sent her. | |||||||||||||

Mr. Joseph Curtin, 161 Parker Ave in re: Mr. Herbert Johnson, 168 Parker Ave lets his son Alan and the other boy run the two gas karts too much, creating disturbance. I went down and talk to both the father and son who were very cooperative. They will not run them at all on Sundays or holidays. And on regular weekdays they will run them from 12 noon to 7 p.m. I will let them know if I receive any further complaints. | ||||||||||||
